Welcome to Max Bordeaux and its magical concept that opens wines such as Latour, Margaux, Haut-Brion,Cheval Blanc, Mouton Rothshild, Yquem but also Clos Monicord to everyone!

Max Bordeaux was created by Henning Thorensen, a Norwegian wine merchant from Oslo who had always wanted to make Grand Crû Classé wines accesible "by the glass", opened its doors in 2009. An innovative concept paired with an educationnal approach: each wine is presented with its history, winemaking techniques and tasting notes. 

Regular events and workshops are organized with sommeliers explaining the history of Grand Crus Classé wines and tastings between the various appelations.

If you are in Bordeaux it is worth a visit. The staff is charming taking away the feel of distance between Grand Cru wines and consumers.

Try the tasting card that you can obtain when entering the Gallery charged with the amount you wish, minimum 25€. Start tasting and each time you taste another wine your card is debited. (25, 50 or 75ml)
